As a Banking Expert at CBA you will be involved in system development projects, implementation projects and maintenance and support services for international banks, working in close co-operation with our partners.
Using your banking and/or systems development knowledge, you will specify, design, test and create new functionality for the IBAS system. You will work on specific projects related to your skill sets, as well as with our partners and customers. You will provide education and training for partners and customers, and will participate in support services.
Relevant banking experience includes account management/core banking (deposits, vostro/nostro and reconciliation), financing & loan administration, payments, trade finance, forex & money market, factoring, leasing, etc.
The job scope:
- Specify, design, test and create the necessary documentation for the IBAS system
- Undertake training for customers, colleagues and partners
- Participate as experts in development, implementation projects and support activities
- Contribute to application maintenance and application support for our customers and partners
- Extended periods working on/with specific international customer or partner projects
What we are looking for:

- You will have participated in specification, design and/or development of IT Systems for banking products, and/or other sophisticated IT systems
- Have participated in the implementation of banking systems and/or other large IT systems projects
- You are a banking & finance business analyst
- Experience in one or more of the relevant banking product areas
- Able to travel as required
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Skilled communication, including writing of minutes, specifications, etc.
- Logical thought-process and technically proficient
