The majority of our sales will be worked on through and in close co-operation with our international partners. As a member of the management team, your role will be to plan, implement and manage the marketing, sales, implementation projects and support of the IBAS GBF system.
You and your team will lead marketing and sales activities, plan and manage projects and be responsible for the management of our worldwide partners. You will also be responsible for customer retention and cross-selling.
You will be the most important source of input for our business and sales strategy. We are looking for a highly experienced dealmaker and partner alliance leader with a minimum of 8 years experience in identifying, managing, negotiating and closing multimillion-dollar contracts worldwide. You will lead and manage all aspects relating to both our partners and the entire sales process, from lead qualification through to service launch.
The successful candidate will have exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, as well as a proven track record in dealing with senior managers, ideally within the IT applications area and/or experience from the banking, finance or insurance areas.
This individual will command the respect of his partners and colleagues and demonstrate senior management attributes including: leadership, motivation, ownership of relationships and projects, be a strong team player, a professional with a great attention to detail, as well as having a strong ability to see the bigger picture.
In addition, you must thrive under pressure, coordinating actions across different business functions and time zones to meet agreed deadlines. You will need to have strong financial and analytical skills with a good understanding of sales and marketing strategies.
The job scope:
- Plan, implement and manage marketing, sales, implementation and support of banking application systems
- Identify, structure and manage sales alliance partners in relevant markets worldwide through an appropriate business model
- Identify, structure, negotiate and close significant and complex deals
- Ensure IBAS is introduced correctly to the market
- Ensure IBAS sales, implementation projects and support are managed on-time (quality & time-wise)
- Enthusiastic member of the management team
- Forecasting and pipeline management
- Effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with finance, legal, sales, marketing and development teams

- 8+ years of deal making experience
- Exceptional qualifications from a leading institution, including an MBA or equivalent further qualification
- Strong knowledge of, and exposure to, the banking or similar sector
- Extremely partner-focused, proactive and effective within a team environment
- Exceptional presentation, communication and consultative selling skills
- Strong team player combined with entrepreneurial skills
- Excellent analytical and financial skills with a good understanding of complex contract law
- Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment, over-delivering on commitments
- Strong technical understanding of the internet and web-based applications
- Fluent written and spoken English
