Three customer banks in Iceland have extended their use of IBAS GPF Objects to manage the new clearing initiative from the Central Bank of Iceland (Seðlabanka Íslands) for clearing through the RTGS system using SWIFT FIN Y-Copy.
This has been achieved by implementing additional IBAS GPF Objects for handling Settlement and Clearing that will ensure full automation (STP), including channel priority, Accounting and Messaging.
The remarkably short implementation time, only a couple of months, is a good example of the flexibility and ease of adaptation that is inherent in the IBAS Systems.
